Chief Minister of West Bengal, Subhendu Adhikari has announced that the August installment of Rs 3,000 of the project will start being sent to the beneficiaries' bank accounts from August 17.

On Thursday, Subhendu Adhikari said from Nabanna that the money for August will start being credited to the accounts of women from August 17. Eligible women who follow the rules will receive money in the bank. However, those who do not pass the government's eligibility criteria will not receive money in their accounts.

At a press conference in Nabanna today, Subhendu said, "Money will be transferred to the accounts from the 17th. From next month, as long as the BJP government is in power, the money will be transferred in the second week of every month. So there is nothing to be confused about it."

Incidentally, no one has received the money for the August month of Annapurna Yojana yet. In this regard, Chief Minister Subhendu Adhikari said on Thursday that the work of verifying the applications submitted under that scheme is underway. The money will be sent to the accounts of the women who applied, from August 17. However, not everyone will get the money right away. Subhendu Adhikari said that only those women who have applied to Annapurna Bhandar till July 10 and whose applications were not found to have any errors in the verification process will get the money on August 17. Chief Minister Subhendu Adhikari said that 2 crore 16 lakh applications have been submitted. Their verification work is almost at the final stage. The Chief Minister held a press conference in Nabanna on Thursday. He said that the applications for Annapurna Yojana have been submitted till July 31. A total of 2 crore 16 lakh applications have been submitted. They are now being verified. Officials are checking whether all the information has been given correctly or not, whether the application criteria have been met. The verification process is almost over. Those who have no errors in their applications will get the money. 

The Chief Minister informed, "We have received applications till July 31. The verification work of each application is going on. It is almost at the final stage. On August 10, at 2 pm, I and the Minister of the concerned department, Malti Rava Roy, will hold a press conference on this issue.
