Harit Dhara Scheme to reduce Transportation overheads

Transportation is now included in Harit Dhara Scheme, associated with Vegetable production. To bring the vegetables from farm to market, 28 new routes have been finalized.

Zila Parishad officials did a survey and mapped out 28 new routes from Panchayats to Vegetable Markets in the city. This will catalyze the transportation of vegetables at lower costs.

A workshop will also be organized for farmers where these routes will be explained. A list of drivers and vehicles running on new routes will be given to the farmers.
