In a New Year update for daily commuters, Helmets will be mandatory from 1^st Jan.  Traffic Police, Udaipur is all geared up to enforce the regulation.

Narpat Singh, Traffic Inspector, informed that Police is delivering knowledge on the importance of helmet and head protection to the two-wheeler drivers at every traffic circle. They are being informed about accidents happening around, and how a helmet can save their life in such a mishap.

With the beginning of New Year, Motor Vehicle Act 129/177 will be enforced, where a Helmet is compulsory for a two-wheeler driver.  A challan will be served if anyone is found driving a two wheeler without a helmet.
