To safeguard the rights of children, the toll free helpline service will commence from 1^st May onward where anyone can call and report of violation of child’s rights.

If a person witnesses child labor, it can be reported on this number as well and necessary actions will be taken by the concerned authority. Nodal director of Child Helpline said that this helpline will work under the guidance of Department of Social Justice & Empowerment.
