Preparations are in full swing for the various programmes to be held on the occasion of Independence Day on 15^th August. ADM City held a meeting with all the departments in Collectorate regarding security measures. Directives have been issued by Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) for strict safety measures at Udaipur airport. High alert has been declared until the 20^th of August following which visitors will not be allowed to enter the terminus.

Family members, acquaintances, friends etc coming in to drop people at the airport will not be issued terminus tickets. No entry will be allowed beyond parking area. CISF commandos are on the watch at every point at the airport premises with dog squads to check every piece of luggage at entry point.
