Udaipur, February 14: The general meeting of Udaipur Development Authority was held on Friday in the UDA auditorium under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kewalramani and in the presence of District Collector Namit Mehta. Various points related to city development were discussed and decisions were taken.
Amongs the other points discussed it was proposed to construct a new housing scheme in the revenue villages of Lakhawali and Nohra. Divisional Commissioner and District Collector took detailed information regarding the proposed scheme and gave their consent.
Elevated Road and Garbage Collection
It was also decided to release Rs 10 Cr from the UDA's share amount of Rs. 61.6 Cr for the elevated road being built from Udaipur City Station to Collector's residence as per the instructions of the state government and to release the next installment. Similarly, in the order of work done by the Municipal Corporation for door-to-door garbage collection work in the UDA area, the Municipal Corporation was given the approval to issue administrative and financial approval of Rs 21.04 Cr for garbage collection and transportation work and to transfer the amount as per the demand of the Municipal Corporation.

The member present at the meeting also discussed the following points:
Trainee IAS Madhav Bhardwaj, UDA OSD Jitendra Ojha, Land Acquisition Officer Bindubala Rajawat, Additional Chief Engineer of PWD Ashok Kumar Sharma, Municipal Corporation Deputy Commissioner Dinesh Kumar, NHAI Project Director Harischandra, UDA Accountant Khushboo Ameta, Deputy City Planner Virendra Singh Parihar, AVVNL XEN Vrinda Dwivedi, Deputy Commissioner Devasthan Jatin Kumar Gandhi etc. were present in the meeting.
