President of Rajasthan State Human Rights Commission, H.R.Kudi conducted a ‘Jansunwaai’ (Public Hearing) today at Circuit House. Kudi is on a three days visit to Lake City.

To participate in the meeting, victims and public officers started gathering at the circuit house early in the morning. The meeting continued for half an hour within which more than 25 victims stated their complaints in front of Kudi.

After the Jansunwaai, Kudi met with senior administrative officers at Collectory. Thereafter, another hearing was conducted at the Collectory where hundreds of people from rural areas participated and put forward the issues troubling them. During this meet, victims, opposition, and witnesses were also called for 16 cases.

Kudi will continue with Jansunwaai on Friday as well; all the senior officials from local administration have been ordered to remain present during the public hearing tomorrow.
