Illegal construction ceased at Rundeda Lake

The Urban Improvement Trust (UIT) Udaipur reacting over illegal construction, forced stopped a construction work at Rundeda Talab, Gupteshwar Nagar. Raw materials were confiscated from the site falling under lake boundaries.

The Urban Improvement Trust (UIT) Udaipur reacting over illegal construction, forced stopped a construction work at Rundeda Talab, Gupteshwar Nagar. Raw materials were confiscated from the site falling under lake boundaries.

According to Ashutosh A.T Pednekar, District Collector, “With the intention of encroaching government land, a private party constructed temporary borders and was about to start construction on that land. Team of UIT along with officials reached the site and seized construction materials.”

Illegal construction ceased at Rundeda Lake

According Ram Niwas Mehta, Secretary, UIT, “An objection was produced by the encroachers claiming it to be an owned land. It was declined after the court order under NLCP (National Lake Conservation Project).”

Ashutosh A.T Pednekar also informed that officials of UIT have been instructed to visit locality on regular basis, so that such illegal activities could be checked on time.
