Going ahead with anti-encroachment drive, Municipal Corporation demolished illegal construction on the banks of Kumharia talab in Ambamata. This piece of land was illegally taken over by Om Prakash since 2010. Even after receiving notices from Municipal Corporation the encroached area was not cleared. Om Prakash even approached the court against the decision of corporation. Leaving aside his house, rest of the encroached premise has been demolished.

The anti-encroachment action was taken as directed by Corporation Commissioner Siddharth Sihag. Public representatives and revenue officers were also present.
