Illegal construction taken down by UMC in Bhupalpura

The anti-encroachment unit of UMC carried out a major exercise today. The team took down the top storey of an under-construction building in the Bhupalpura area today.

The under-construction building is situated opposite Shree Balaji Hospital in Bhupalpura. The UMC team initiated the take-down on illegal construction today. A large police protection was taken while carrying down to destruction to ensure that law and order is maintained.

As per the information received, the builder had a permission of construction ground + 2 floors. The builder however went ahead with construction of the third floor. When UMC was notified of this, they issued a notice to the builder to stop construction. The builder, however, continued the construction. UMC then had no other option but to carry out destruction of the illegally construction portion.
