UIT demolished some illegal constructions in the city. These constructions were being carried out in Manva Kheda area and Savina.The UIT teams went to Manva Kheda on Wednesday and demolished 2 houses that were constructed on government property in Karni Nagar.

Prior to this, UIT had  warned these people carrying out constructions and even sent notices but everything was ignored and the houses were constructed. Kajal Bajaj, Shivlal and Mohan Lal Dangi built their houses on this property. The teams then sent a bulldozer to demolish all the constructions on Wednesday. As informed by the UIT officials, the people who constructed their houses said that they had bought this property from someone whereas this property belonged to UIT.

Similarly 10 shops were demolished in Sector 9 in Savina on Titardi route. A person built 6 shops behind the petrol pump and another person built 4 shops. Collector had received information about these illegal constructions. 

On Wednesday, the teams along with police force reached Savina area and demolished these shops. The shops were still vacant at the time of demolition.
