Municipal Corporation demolished illegal construction from a government property alongside Lake Pichola. The government property measures 1 bigha. 

As per complaints sent to the District Collector, someone had built a room illegally on a property which belongs to the government. A boundary wall was also constructed here. Directives were issued to look into this matter and take appropriate action against this. 

The teams of Municipal Corporation then reached Eklavya Colony alongside Pichola ring road and saw the illegal construction here. 2 JCB machines were used to demolish the illegal constructions.

The action was protested by some people there but it was overlooked by the anti-encroachment teams. After the demolition act, a board bearing details of the government possession was planted at this site.
