Tourists coming to Udaipur will now be able to get all tourism related information at the click of a button. To facilitate information dissemination, Tourism department has started an information centre at Fateh Memorial Tourist Welcome Centre, Surajpole.

Information centre has been set up at the cost of Rs 50 Lakhs. The centre has a big touch screen with the help of which tourists will be able to garner information about all the tourist spots in Udaipur. They would also be able to find out the location and distances to bus stand, railway station, other utility centres and important tourism destinations.

The centre also has an air conditioned waiting lounge. Currently work is on in terms of development of a special software for the touch screen and it is expected that the work would be completed in 15 days time.
