Given the high temperature of the city and increased demand of water, the need will be replenished with the help of added Ten Lac Liter water that will be available from Jaisamand Lake on a daily basis. So far, Udaipur is receiving 200 Lac Liter from the lake (2 MLD).

PHED will increase the supply in 2-3 days. Previously, the department had already boosted 20 Lac Liter from Mansiwakal.

District Collector Ashutosh A.T Pednekar held a meeting with the PHED officials and initiated the drive to cut off illegal connections and booster attached connections to solve the problem of low pressure in the city.
