Urban Improvement Trust (UIT) is speeding up formalities for transferring Maharana Pratap Khel Gaon, as District Sports Council (DSC) agreed to take charge of the Sports Complex and complete further requirements of the various courts within the premises.

According to Ashutosh Pednekar, District Collector of Udaipur, DSC had not taken charge of the Sports Complex that was constructed almost 2 years back, on grounds of missing amenities and other requirements.

After a detailed discussion with District Collector, DSC has agreed for the transfer and has also decided to establish all the required amenities on their own account.

Pednekar further informed that a notice has also been sent to the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) in which UIT has request RCA to initiate further construction or dispose of the venue to UIT, so that the land can be used for some other development need.
