Kshatriya Mahasabha Demands action against Resident Doctors, threatens dire Consequences
The situation at the Emergency Ward of M.B. Hospital turned tense once again today, when members of the Kshatriya Mahasabha met the Principal of RNT Medical College, Dr. S.K Kaushik and demanded immediate suspension of Resident doctors involved in an alleged attack on a patient’s attendant on 8th July.

Heavy police force was deployed outside the emergency ward in front of M.B Hospital.
Deep Singh Jhala, General Secretary, Mewar Kshatriya Mahasbha with some other workers of the group met Dr. S.K. Kaushik Principal R.N.T. Medical College and asked about the suspension of Dr. Kaptan Singh and three other residents who were allegedly involved in attacking and beating up a patient’s attendant Jitendra Singh and his family members including the patient Jitendra’s mother and his wife on Sunday night of 8th July.
The other incident is that of a parking stand tender-holder who allegedly assaulted a pregnant lady in front of her husband, Himmat Singh.
Jhala told that both these incidents show the misconduct of Resident Doctors and the parking staff of the Hospital. He also said that, “we take doctors as saviors and compare them even to God, but these doctors have lost all their dignity and respect.”
He said that what they have done is an unpardonable act full of public immorality. The Mewar Kshtriya Mahasabha also warns the Hospital Administration and demanded response to a Seven point questionnaire, which says:
1. Had the Hospital Administration taken any disciplinary action against accused of both the incidents?
2. Are Dr. Kaptan singh and other three residents with him who were alleged of beating Jitendra being suspended from duty with immediate effect?
3. Did Dr. Kaptan Singh and other three residents rusticated from the college.
4. If rusticated and suspended did the hospital Administration send the copies of their suspension to the Medical Council of India
5. Did you asked your subordinate Dr. D.P. Singh to take back the so called false case.
6. Did the hospital administration suspended the license of the accused parking stand tender holder
7. Did the hospital administration blacklisted the parking tender holder and sent his name to all the medical colleges, hospitals and State Govt.
Jhala said that this memorandum has been given to the District Collector and the copies were sent to the Chief Minister, Health Minister, Home Minister, Rajasthan and President of the Rajasthan Women Commission.
In a press conference today, the members of the Kshatriya Mahasabha demanded for a quick arrest of the accused junior resident doctors. There spokesperson also said, “Dr. D.P. Singh, Hospital Superintendent, MB Hospital should also be suspended from his duty.”
They also demanded the arrest of the Accused Parking Tender Holders and informed that the Mahasabha will be taking out a procession on the 17th July in the morning at 10 from the Collectorate with the people of the city for the above mentioned demands.
It was also cited in the press conference that, if the demands were not met according to their needs the group would resort to a much violent movement in the city.
