Lakecity’s Lady Patrol team has become a role model for the entire state of Rajasthan. CM Vasundhara Raje has declared that every district will have similar teams for safety purposes.

Lady Patrol team was flagged off on 6^th October 2016 in Udaipur. The team has 22 lady police who have carried out 400 different tasks till 31^st January 2018. They have not only taken the injured to hospital but also dealt with cases of bike stunts, criminal activities, crime against women and even taken the drunkards to task. To stay fit this Lady Patrol team performs yoga, martial arts, aerobics, gym, swimming and meditation every day. They have also been trained in weapon handling. The team has also been taught to give first-aid to injured people.

The Lady Patrol team is equipped with glock pistols. There is one bike shared by 2 ladies. This sigma bike has been especially prepared for the Lady Patrol team. The bike is equipped with blinkers, hooters and a public address system. A wireless system has also been provided to this Lady Patrol team. Their efforts are being appreciated by the Udaipur city, hence similar teams will be created in the rest of Rajasthan specifically with the motive of women’s security.
