The much hyped parking at Municipal Corporation (Nagar Nigam) turned out to be lot less safer than promised. A case of bike theft from the Municipal Corporation parking was filed yesterday at Surajpole Police Station.

Kurabad resident Kailash Chandra Jain (s/o Chogalal Kalal) has filed a complaint at Surajpole Police Station. As per the report, Kailash informed that he had come for some work to Udaipur. He had parked his bike at the parking lot in Municipal Corporation. After some time when he returned back, his bike was no where to be found.

This bike theft comes after multiple observations earlier as well about lapses in managing the parking lot in the municipal corporation area. Though the parking is paid for but despite that fool-proof mechanisms of security are still missing.
