Soon, some of the locals and relatives of the house owner surrounded UMC Commissioner and asked them to stop the action. Commissioner said that it is a legal action; some people allegedly attacked the demolition team.

An additional police force was called to handle the situation and a report against unknown people is lodged by UMC Commissioner for disrupting government work and assaulting government employees.

A local politician protested the demolition and said that why only people living on lake side are not allowed to expand their residences, although many big hotels situated on lake side are executing construction works openly.
