Subodh Kumar Agarwal, Divisional Commissioner of Udaipur has announced the names of people who have been chosen for free pilgrimage program initiated by Rajasthan Government under Devsthan Department. The names were announced through lottery system.

There are 8 places of pilgrimage decided by the department, and one individual can go to one place through the program. Today lottery for four destinations viz. Rameshwaram, Vaishnodevi, Jagannathpuri and Samved Shikhar were announced.

According to Subodh Kumar Agarwal, around 5000 applicants are from Udaipur. In today’s lottery, first names are of Indri Devi who will be going to Rameshwaram , Shobhalal to Vaishnodevi, Shantilal Jain to Samved Shikhar and Kalibai Prajapat to Jagannathpuri.

The process also includes documentation, Travel Insurances and other formalities. Finally the group will go on the pilgrimage.
