The pathway from Madri Industrial Area towards Kanpur will be shut for 11 months owing to the construction of the underpass on that route. The road has been shut from today till 31 July 2017.

Ram Niwas Mehta Secretary, UIT, informed that underpass work will now be started along the Madri Kanpur cross-over on the PratapNagar-Balicha highway. The route along PratapNagar-Balicha highway will however not be impacted during the interim.

As an alternate path, people plying from Udaipur city towards Madri, Kanpur, Bhoiyon ki Pancholi and Jhamar Kotra will have to go via Road no 5 on RIICO Industrial Area.

Ram Nivas Mehta informed that diversion boards have been placed at relevant locations along the route.
