As part of its month long drive against encroachment, the Udaipur municipal corporation team today carried out a major anti-encroachment exercise near the Delhi Gate area.

The open space opposite Taiyabbiah School at Delhi Gate is subject to complete encroachment by unauthorised fruit, vegetable and other vendors. The anti-encroachment team started the drive today morning and cleared up the entire area.

The municipal corportion team started in the exercise in the morning with help of a JCB machine in presence of heavy police force. After initial resistance by a set of vendors, the team explained the law and got the unauthorised vendors going. The team also got rid of unauthorised vehicles parked in the area.

Municipal Corporation team is undertaking a month long anti-encroachment drive. The team had removed set of generators and other encroachments opposite Town Hall a couple of days back.
