The President of Republic of Maldives, Abdulla Yameen was welcomed today at Udaipur by senior officials from City Administration on his two-day visit to Udaipur.  The President landed in the afternoon today, with his wife and a group of 23 officials.

He was then escorted to Udai Vilas Hotel where after a while he moved to Leela Hotel for his stay. The schedule of the First Family includes sightseeing of tourist destinations of the city including Pichola Lake, Saheliyon Ki Badi and such. They will fly to Agra tomorrow.

RajniDangi, Ashutosh A. T. Pednekar, Bhavani Singh Detha, AmritKalash, Dinesh Kothari, Mahesh Goyal, MohammadYaseenPathan, Bhojkumar, Priyanka Bhatt and other officials welcomed the President on his arrival.

UPDATE: Later in the day the President along with his wife did some shopping in The Celebration Mall and also visited Rajasthan Art School situated near Saheliyon ki Badi. They also praised beauty of the City, while taking a boat ride in Pichola Lake.
