Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya, Tribal Minister, today in a meeting organized at the Divisional Commissioner’s Office said that the Ministry is committed to implement the plans of tribal welfare and development.

A team that has come from Jaipur is accompanying the Minister to co-ordinate and implement the plans and policies of the Gehlot Ministry regarding Tribals, which includes Deputy Director Monitoring, S.R.Meena, including Mahenderjeet Singh Malviya’s private Secretary B.S. Pradhan.

Addressing the media personnel, the Tribal Minister told that the Udaipur Division is a tribal Belt and this meeting has been called under TAD (Tribal Area Development) plan to co-ordinate and implement the State Government policies for the welfare of the Tribals. He also said that we are providing Manure and seeds to the tribal farmers and up to 3,95,000 tonnes of manure has been already distributed and seeds are also being distributed.

He said that tourism is a major industry in this area and we are trying to implement the plans to develop the area so that tribal as well as other people are benefited out of this.

Divisional Commissioner Subodh Agarwal was also present at the meeting.
