A man has been jailed for threatening people with knife in hand. The case dates to one and half month back.

Almost a month and a half back; a man had thrown slipper at a female judge in District court. He was arrested for threatening people with a knife in hand in Paneriyon ki Madri area. On Monday, Upper Chief Judicial Magistrate Samrendra Singh Sikarwar sentenced him to one year of prison and a penalty of 1000 rupees.

Bheru Lal Jat s/o Hamer Lal resident of Neemuch Mata Scheme was arrested by Hiranmagri Police. Bheru Lal was moving around with a knife in hand threatening people. Constable Nana Lal arrested Bheru Lal and recovered the knife from him. He was sentenced to jail under section 4/25 Arms act.

The court said that Bheru Lal was arrested 10 months back under Arms act and since then he was in judicial custody. Instead of sobering down, he became more aggravated in jail. On 25th September, Bheru was taken to the court for hearing. In the court, he flung his slipper at the judge which hit the dias and fell.
