Master mind of mobile thefts, the most wanted culprit has finally been arrested by Udaipur police. This most wanted criminal is behind all the robberies in mobile shops in the past three months.

Ramesh aka Anna s/o Homaji Gameti has finally been arrested for planning and carrying out all the mobile thefts in town. He has confessed to committing thefts in mobile shops on Chetak Circle and also twice at Udiapole mobile shop. Ramesh is a history sheeter listed in Nai police station. He has 17 cases against him in various police stations.

Ramesh revealed that he used to steal expensive mobiles and sell them at comparatively much cheaper rates in Gujarat. He even sold a mobile worth 20000 rupees in just 2000 rupees. His wife and friend Roshan Regar were helping him in selling mobiles. Police is searching for Ramesh’s wife and Roshan Regar.

Earlier police traced a few mobiles through IMEI numbers and arrested two culprits Suraj and Nadeem. Suraj and Nadeem had revealed Ramesh’s name to police during interrogation. Now police is thoroughly interrogating Ramesh with a hope that he might reveal many other crimes.

Went up the third floor through pipeline

Ramesh had entered the mobile shop in Udiapole through the ventilator on 27^th June. He went up the third floor by means of pipe, broke the bathroom ventilator and entered the shop. Then he picked up mobiles worth 3 to 4 lakh of rupees and went out of the shop through the same ventilator. He entered the same shop the second time through ventilator again. The thefts at Chetak circle were also carried out the same way.

One other accomplice Shyamlal Shrivastav s/o Munnalal Shrivastav resident of Reti stand is yet to be arrested. Police is on the lookout for this criminal as well.
