Town Planning department of Udaipur has initiated the process of preparing the master plan of Udaipur till the year 2031.

According to sources, at present the master plan till 2022 has been prepared which will be re-examined and a master plan for 2031 will be prepared.

The Town Planning has finalised the master plans of Rajsamand, Devgarh, Bhinder, Kanod, and Fatehnagar towns.

The plan of Badi Sadri, Chhoti Sadri and Nathdwara has been sent to the State Government for approval. The department is implementing various works in 17 Municipal Corporations under the scheme of Integrated Development of Small and Medium Towns.
