Shipra Agrawal, resident of Udaipur, who recently contributed her prize money of Rs.1.5 Lakh for cleaning of lakes and area around it, saw her objectives take shape as 9 dustbins were installed at Ganguar Ghat including Chandpol and nearby localities.

Today, Shipra Agrawal’s dream took a shape of reality, when Mayor Rajni Dangi granted permission for installation of dustbins at Gangaur Ghat and Chandpol. Shipra efforts were whole heartedly appreciated by Mayor Rajni Dangi.

Shipra is a student at IIM Kozhikode and had participated in LOUD – Live Out Your Dreams competition organized by Godrej Company. Her project was dedicated to Lake Conservation and Cleaning and she was awarded prize money of Rs.1.5 lakh.

According to Shipra, the prize money received will be spent for buying 9 dustbins and a Pedal Boat, which would be used to keep lake clean. She further added that local committees including Jheel Sanrakshan Samiti and Mohan Singh Mehta Memorial Trust guided her throughout the project.

Shipra also added that all the cleaning efforts would be under charge of both Jheel Sanrakshan Samiti and Mohan Singh Mehta Memorial Trust.
