Regarding the proposed project of development of parking space at Municipal Corporation’s campus in ‘Hathiwala Park’, Mayor held discussions with G.S. Sandhu (Principal Secretary for Urban Development, Housing and Local Self Governance for Rajasthan State) regarding approval and recently conducted survey to test feasibility.

The discussion today revealed that the geological survey accomplished on 25^th April this year has established that the park has a shelf beneath its crust and further approvals could only be granted after detailed report.

According to the Mayor Rajni Dangi, the survey was conducted by Riddcore Company, for the purposes of survey the company took samples from various locations within park. The project is to develop double basement parking space without disturbing present structure of park, added Mayor.
