Going aggressive on the anti-encroachment drive, UIT team today cleared encroachments on the Purohiton ki Madri main road.

The temporary encroachments were removed today by the UIT team. Tehsildar Goverdhan Singh Jhala was present during the entire operation.

UIT team warned the people that if encroachment is carried out yet again then legal action will be initiated against them.

Police and homeguard members were also present to keep the law and order situation in check during the entire exercise.

UIT had issued notice to these people in past about voluntary removal of encroachment but on account of inaction on part of the tenants, UIT officials carried out the exercise today.
