M.G College to witness Vote Counting of Assembly Elections
The counting of 8 assembly seats for the State Assembly Election will be conducted at Meera Girl’s College on 8th Dec from 8AM.

District election officer Ashutosh Pednekar informed that the various rooms of college campus is divided according to the assembly seats of Gogunda, Jhadol, Kherwada, Udaipur-Rural, Udaipur, Mavli, Vallabhnagar and Salumber.
Gogunda Assembly Seats counting will be conducted in Room No. 135 (First Floor) in 22 rounds.
Jhadol Assembly seats counting will be conducted in Room No. 5 (Ground Floor) in 22 rounds.
Kherwada Assembly seats counting will be conducted in Room No.16 (Ground Floor) in 21 rounds.
Udaipur Rural Assembly seats counting will be done at Room No.22 (Ground Floor) in 20 rounds.
Udaipur Assembly seats counting will be done in Room No. 133 (First Floor) in 19 rounds.
Mavli Assembly seats counting will be done in Room No. 7 (Ground Floor) in 24 rounds.
Vallabhnagar Assembly seats counting will be done in Room No.116 (First Floor) in 27 rounds.
Salumber Assembly seats will be done in Room No. 108 (First Floor) in 27 rounds.
All counting agents will be seated according to the assembly seats provided to them. They cannot move to any other table or room.
The Meera Girl’s College campus will be highly cordoned and all special agents will be allowed through entry-pass. Every person will be passed through metal detector too. Mobile Phones, Tobacco, Match Box etc will be strictly prohibited inside the campus.
Electronic Voting Machines in Tight Security
All EVMs are kept under the tight security. Armed personnel are guarding all rooms of the campus for 24hours.
Results of Election
According to an official press release by Information Center, the results of counting will be updated through loud speaker and projectors.
