The Ministry of Human Development organized a one-day training program for cooks who are assigned for preparing mid day meals in government schools. The workshop was conducted at Zila Parishad.

The Ministry of Human Development organized a one-day training program for cooks who are assigned for preparing mid day meals in government schools. The workshop was conducted at Zila Parishad.

40 cooks from 12 different blocks of Udaipur district took part in the workshop and learned the best method of cooking meal for students. The training emphasized on three major aspects of cooking, Quality, Safety, and Hygiene.

As per Kunj Bihari Bardwaj, Add. District Education officer, “The team of trainers consisted of three professionals of Akshat Patra Santhan of Bangalore including the master trainer Ujvala Jhetkar.”

Bardwaj also informed that the National level training programs were held at three districts of Udaipur, Bhilwara and Dungerpur

He added, “The motive of organizing such training program is to educate the cooks and maintaining quality while preparing mid day meals for students.”
