Eight locations have been identified by Nagar Nigam for Construction of Mini Mechanized parking systems.

In a recent addition to the initiative, it was informed that a consultant team on this project will survey the spots from Monday, 25th and will submit their report . Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari called a meeting of Engineers of Nagar Nigam to discuss this yesterday.

Places including Surajpol, Udiapol, Bapu Bazar, Hathipol, Mukhrjee Chowk, Chetak Circle and Sukhadia Circle have been initially identified for this project.

The consultant team from Kolkata will arrive in Udaipur on Monday and will present a report on how the project can be carried forward at these locations.

In the initial phase two or three places will be selected to start the project. Nagar Nigam is also planning to develop general parking spaces in the city.
