More than 6000 congress workers from Udaipur to visit Delhi
In the wake of grand gathering of congress at Ramlila Maidan Delhi, a joint meeting of Udaipur Rural Congress Committee and Udaipur City Congress Committee held today at circuit house under the leadership of District In-charge and Tribal area Development, Rural Development and Panchyati Raj Minister, Mahenderjeet Singh Malviya and Observer In-charge and Rajasthan State Secretary, Congress R.R. Tiwari.
In the wake of grand gathering of congress at Ramlila Maidan Delhi, a joint meeting of Udaipur Rural Congress Committee and Udaipur City Congress Committee held today at circuit house under the leadership of District In-charge and Tribal area Development, Rural Development and Panchyati Raj Minister, Mahenderjeet Singh Malviya and Observer In-charge and Rajasthan State Secretary, Congress R.R. Tiwari.
Malviya said in his speech that 4th November is going to be a very important day in the history of Indian politics as gathering of thousands of congress workers at the Ramlila Maidan, New Delhi, will decide the future command of the country.
Malviya urged district congress office bearers to take as many congress workers into the rally as they can. According to Shrimali, R.R. Tiwari and Malviya gave target for Udaipur city Congress to take 1000 people for the rally from the city and for Udaipur Rural Congress Committee 5100 people from the rural areas.
Lal Singh Jhala, president of Rural Congress asked congressmen to unite and stand by Dr. C.P. Joshi who set an example and inspiration for the congress workers by becoming Railway Minister. Nilima Sukhadiya, president of city congress said that congress workers will have to reach Delhi by their own means.
Tiwari said that interested congress workers can give their names for the Registration to the concerned congress office bearers before 30th of October.
Meeting was also attended by Sajjan Katara (MLA Udaipur, Rural), Pushkar lal Dangi (MLA Mavli), Trilok Purbia (Ex-MLA), Madhu Mehta (Pradhan, Udaipur), Vivek Katara (Youth congress lok Sabha President), Jai Prakash Nimawat (Youth congress Udaipur Assembly President) and large number office bearers of Rural Congress.
Congress city executive committee remains suspended at present, so the question arises that whether the target of 1000 can be achieved.
