The government hospitals will now have multi-storey cottages equipped with dining area, gym and cafeteria related facilities. Besides ICU and Operation Theater, diagnostic wings will also be established for all main tests.

The multi-storey cottages will boast deluxe, super deluxe categories at Udaipur Medical College on the basis of PPP- Public Private Partnership and BOT- Build, Operate Transfer mode.

Post finalization of bid document in 15 days, the construction work of the cottages will start by the end of June. The estimated cost of a cottage is Rs. 80 Crore in an area of 5,000 sq ft.  The cottages will also have housekeeping services and 24 hour security cell.

The cottages will be kept for 30 years lease period. In all over the state, 6 medical colleges and 200 medical colleges in Jaipur alone will have 100 cottages.
