Regional Passport Officer, Vivek Jeff, undertook a one day trip to assess the progress on the proposed Passport office at Udaipur. Basis his assessment Vivek is to submit a report to the Ministry of External Affairs.

After surveying the office, Vivek directed members of the Municipal Corporation to ensure that all facilities are in place by the agreed date of 15-Feb 2017 for the Passport Seva Kendra.

Members of the Municipal Corporation gave Vivek the assurance that the team is currently on track with the progress and they would be able to ensure readiness by the agreed date.

Assessment report by Vivek is required to be sent to Ministry of External Affairs. Once the preparations are all complete, Foreign Ministry Sushma Swaraj is expected to come and inaugurate the centre.
