To curb seasonal diseases and viral flu, Udaipur Municipal Council in association with Health Department will carry out Fogging of Pyrethrum mixed with Diesel, in all the wards across the city from Sept 27 till Oct 30th.

The effect of fogging will control flies and insects breeding in rainy season in the stagnant waters which are one of the major causes of outbreak.

Vishnu Sharma of UMC informed that, a meeting between Chairperson of MCU and Chief Medical Officer in this regard had been organized a few days back.

Rajni Dangi, Chairperson UMC, said that, the program will start from 27^th September to 30^th October and on the first day fogging will be done for ward number 1 and 55, which includes the area of Dewali, Neemuch Mata Scheme, Kharol Colony, Adinath Colony, and Manoharpura.

The next day, on 28^th September, it will be done for the ward number 3 and 4 for the areas, including Pologround, Saheli Nagar, New Fatehpura, Loha Bazaar, Panchwati and Moti Magri Scheme.

In the third Phase, it will be done for ward 53 and 54, which includes the area of Ahinsapuri, Pulan, Alu Factory Slum area, Krishnapura, Sardarpura and Bhikharinath ji ka Math. Fogging will be carried out every day 6 pm onwards.
