Municipal Council takes several decision on Slum Area Development

Releasing Ownership Right (Patta) for Slum Area must be taken on priority: Chairman MCU

In the first meeting, Rajni Dangi, ordered the Council’s Land Regularization Department officials to prioritize releasing of Patta to the owners of land in slum areas. Through the Commissioner of MCU, Satyanarayan Acharya, she ordered that the officials should release the land patta in the First Phase, within 5 days.

Dangi also ordered to finalize the issues of ownership pending since 2009 and relieve to the applicants.

1242 families of Slums to be rehabilitated soon under IHSDP, 150 lacs Proposal Plan

Later, in a meeting under the joint supervision of RUIFDCO (Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure Finance and Development Corporation) Team Leader, V. K. Garg and Chairperson MCU, Rajni Dangi held today at the office of the Chairperson. In the meeting, it has been decided that in 17 slum areas where ownership rights cannot be transferred to occupier of the land due to High Tension Line, Road, Border, Canal, Park, etc., so there is a scheme under IHSDP to rehabilitate 1242 families to the South Extension of Udaipur.

For this project, for infrastructure development and other facilities, proposal plans of Rs. 150 lacs have been placed for approval by Engineers of TCIL and Council.
