Udaipur, April 15, 2025 - In view of the intense heat, Udaipur Nagar Nigam has launched a unique initiative by providing shade and drinking water at several locations across the city. Nigam Commissioner Ram Prakash shared that canopies measuring 15x10 feet have been installed at these locations. Additionally, arrangement for cold drinking water has also been made at these spots.

Furthermore, the Nagar Nigam has stationed a female volunteer at each location to distribute ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution) packets, which can be used by any citizen or passerby in need.

Commissioner Ram Prakash informed that daily thousands of people were benefiting from this initiative.
