Nagar Nigam may create another Cleaning Committee

If the provisions of the Rajasthan Municipalities (Amendment) Bill 2015 are catered to, then the number of cleaning committee of Nagar Nigam will increase to two. After this, the total committees will turn out to be 22, instead of 21.

According to the new provisions of the bill, the city with 50-75 wards will have two cleaning committees. So far, only one committee has been working in Udaipur. This is in regards to the board meeting that was held on 2nd March where 21 committees were assigned by Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari.

If this provision is approved by the state government, then the entire area will be divided in accordance to the new evolved committees.
