In the upcoming monsoon season, Udaipur will witness ‘Van Mahotsav’ where tree plantation program will be held all over the city. The administration has commenced the preparations for the same.

The major responsibility of the Mahotsav is entrusted upon UIT and Nagar Nigam. District Collector Rohit Gupta organized a meeting regarding this program with the officials of Forest Department, UIT, Nagar Nigam and RIICO.

The date of Van Mahotsav will be finalized in a day or two. The government departments will also collaborate for the event at their level.

On the other hand, collector held discussions with the Team 11 at Luv Kush stadium who are assigned to work for the beautification of the city. They were directed to plant trees between the dividers, repair the pending work and paint the dividers.
