Organized by Nagar Nigam, the Dussehra-Diwali Mela will begin the celebrations from 2^nd November 2015 onward with the hands of Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria.

Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari informed that this year, the entry for the fair will be free where Udaipurites will be able to witness cultural programmes. In the first two days, local artists will be provided stage to perform during the culture programme as a means to provide platform to them.

Deputy mayor Lokesh Dwivedi said that the arrangements of the event have been done by the members of 18 committees. Jagdish Menaria, core committee members informed on 2^nd and 3^rd November local artists will perform, 3^rd Nov- Folk artists from various states, 5^th Nov- Sonam Kakkar night, 6^th Nov- Rajiv Nigam and localite Chirag Vadhwani Laughter Night, 7^th Nov- Kavi Sammelan with Shailesh Lodha, Gajender Solanki, Anjum Rahbar etc., 8^th Nov- Dance Night by MJ5 Group.

This time, the stage will be 36×44 feet with photographs of tourist attractions at the backdrop. Special arrangements for parking and traffic management, safety and security of Udaipurites during the fair will be maintained.
