Nanhe Hath Kalam Ke Sath Inaugurated by Collector

The third stage of ‘Nanhe Hath Kalam Ke Sath’, a campaign to stop migration of children and introduce people to welfare schemes of the government was inaugurated in Udaipur today by Madhu Mehta, Hemant Gera, District Collector and by members of Panchayat Samiti and Jila Parishad.

This campaign was given the green flag earlier by the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot on 12th June. The caravan has now moved towards Jhadol.

Vipin Tiwari, a member of the Caravan of ‘Nanhe Hath Kalam Ke Sath’, told that from 15th June the Caravan will spread awareness in three Gram Panchayat’s of Jhadol to educate children and tell them about the welfare schemes of the government.

During this Campaign a development Fair, ‘Umang 2012’ will be organized after which the Caravan will move to three Gram Panchayat’s of Kothra and on 18th and 19th June, the development Fair will be held in Jhuda Gram Panchayat; along with this fifteen Gram Panchyat’s of Girva, Kherwada and Sadra will also be included in the campaign.

At the Fair, stalls will be put up by all departments and people will be educated about the welfare schemes. During the campaign a Film exhibition, Puppet dance and Magic shows will also be organized to educate people. On 1st and 2nd July a huge Fair will be organized at Ogana Gram Panchayat of Jhadol.

In the workshop held on 14th June, B.R Bhati, Additional District Magistrate and Mohammad Yasin Pathan, Additional District Magistrate (City) instructed officials from Jhadol and Kothra to inform the Sarpanch of all areas from where the Caravan will pass.

Girija Devi, Communication Officer, UNICEF and Sanjay Nirala, Child Protection Officer will give information about the outline and happenings at the campaign.

On this occasion, an informative film was shown. In the workshop, officials of the Education Department, Panchayati Raj, Labour Department, Medical Department and various other departments were present along with Sub-Divisional officer Kirti Rathore, Vipin Tiwari of PCCRCU and various representatives of Non-Government organizations.
