Nature preservation and forest conservation stressed at Van Mahotsav
The 63rd District Level Van Mahotsav was organized today at Haldi Ghati, Kevde Ki Naal by Forest Department. Sapling plantation and Award ceremony were conducted in the honour of Forest Conservators.

Madhu Mehta, District Head, addressed the event saying, “These days we are having less forests and higher pollution levels and this is not a good sign for our daily life. Everyone should get involved and contribute towards nature preservation and forest conservation”.
The Chief-guest of the event, Dr. Subodh Agrawal, Divisonal Commisoner said, “Nature and Environment are God’s gifts, and we should conserve them. We are just using the resources provided by nature, we should also work towards its conservation too”.
“Coming generations should make a note of it to work towards conserving our natural resources”, he added.
Hemant Ghera, District Collector said, “The natural calamities are the result of our ignorant attitude towards nature. We should do something about this, to secure our present and future”.
Dr. N. C. Jain, Chief Forest Conservator, also spoke on the rising problems due to extreme usage of Natural resources.
Rajendra Sen, Event Coordinator organized the event and welcomed the guests, including I. P. S. Mathur, Asst. Forest Conservator; Rahul Bhatnagar; Veerpal Singh Rana and R. K. Singh.
200 saplings were planted today by students of S.S. College, Aravli Institute, Shree Jee College, Kevede Ki Naal Govt. College and the officials.
Awards for the best Forest Conservators were received by officials, including Pradeep Pradhan, Gurdayal, Ratanlal, Ratan Singh, Bheru Singh, Sakar Chand, Dwarka Prasad, Kalu Singh, Pramod Kumar and Yashwant Kumar. They were also awarded with the cash reward of Rs. 1000 each and a recognition certificate.
