Tourism department is working on many aspects to make this year’s 3 day Lake City Festival different and a major success.

“Udaipur By Night” is a unique initiative under which a 1Km night Marathon is being planned during the lAKE festival.  This 1Km Night Marathon will take place between 10:00PM to 12:30AM on 19^th November.

Cultural programs by local artisans will be on display at Gangaur Ghat in the evenings during the festival period and a 3 day evening program will be held at Fatehsagar.

A variety of new segments are being introduced to make the festival unique and outstanding.  10 Artists have been invited from across the country, for a live painting exhibition.  This is the first time in the history of the Lake City Festival that a live painting series will be held.

A complete range of Water Sports is being organized, in which over 600 students from across the country will participate.  It is being proposed to setup a Water Sports Academy, the formal launch of which will happen during the festival (Nov 18 – Nov 20).
