During a booth level workers convention, Home minister of the state and MLA Gulab Chand Kataria raised questions regarding the work done by NLCP (National Lake Conservation Plan).

After monitoring the ring road of Picchola, Kataria complained about the allotted amount of 125crore for the project that has not been used effectively at all.The situation is worse here and held ‘leakage’ as a responsible factor for the same.

According to Kataria, works around Fateh Sagar have not been completed and are still delayed. He raised various issues regarding unwanted work being done by the NLCP near Fateh Sagar, Sanjay Gandhi Park, Rani Road and other places. NLCP has witnessed complaints before from the general public as well.

One of the leading complaints from Kataria and the public has been regarding the floating fountain that was erected at Fateh Sagar but has never been seen working full-fledged.
