In a review meeting of Independent Departments working under both State and Central Government at Collectorate, instructions were floated across all employees, to have an Aadhar Card, else they will not be given their monthly compensation.

Concerning the process of digitization of departments including, AVVNL, UIT, UMC, PWD, Irrigation and other such government bodies; the decision was taken in the meeting today that on the basis of Aadhar Card EID (Employee Identification) will be generated, thereafter UID (User Identification) will be generated to be used to mark the attendance of employees in a centralized system and also to be used for transfer of salaries electronically.

Sources informed that till now only 2 out of 25 employees in AVVNL, 17 out of 90 in PWD, 11 out of 45 in Irrigation department has fulfilled all the required documentation; also added that salaries of all the employees on payroll of State or Central government are directly credited to their accounts online on a monthly basis.

In consequence of the meeting, salaries to be paid after 26^th January will be given only to those who are holding a valid Aadhar Card.
