To make RNT Medical College affiliated hospitals tobacco free zone, the nodal officer will check patients and their relatives with the help of staff and home guards.

The Nodal officer will spread awareness among the people every Monday for which Dr. Ramesh Joshi held a meeting for this campaign on Tuesday. The nodal officer will plea to the staff as well to stop the consumption of tobacco. Dr. Vijay Gupta, Dr. Gaurav Jaiswal and Ajeet Jain were present during the meeting.

It is to consider that after World NO Tobacco Day, the city witnessed closing of tobacco and pan shops on the last day of the month on Tuesday. Almost 125 shopkeepers did not sell tobacco products, cigarette and pan.
