Special traffic arrangements for 19th and 20th September following Chadi milan and Moharram.

 
No-traffic zones declared-Chadi Milan and Moharram

Following the occasions of “Chadi Milan” and “Moharram”, no-traffic zones have been declared for Thursday and Friday.

Since the processions for “Chadi Milan” and “Moharram” pass through certain specific areas, administration has declared no-traffic zones for these areas. Thursday 20th September, 8 p.m. onwards until the conclusion of these occasions, areas that will be under the no-traffic zone are:

Chetak Circle to Hathipole, Clock Tower, Bada Bazar, Bhadbhuja Ghati; Teej ka Chowk to Chokhla Bazar, Bhadbhuja Ghati; Mandi Chowk to Mandi ki Naal, Bhadbhuja Ghati; Bhadbhuja Ghati to Marshal Choraha and to Mukherjee Chowk, Sindhi Bazar and Teliyon ki Mata.

On Friday 21st September traffic will be prohibited in these areas from 12 noon onwards:

Rang Niwas-Bhattiyani Chohatta-Jagdish Chowk; Chandpole-Gadia Devra-Jagdish Chowk; Hathipole-Harban ji ka khurra-Moti Chohatta-Clock Tower; Bhadbhuja Ghati-Bada Bazar-Clock Tower; Delhi Gate-Teej ka Chowk-Dhanmandi-Chokhla Bazar-Bhadbhuja Ghati.

Traffic will be diverted for vehicles going from Hanthipole to Chandpole. Four wheelers will have to take the routes from Jhariya Marg, Shiksha Bhawan, Kala Kivad and Ayurvedic College choraha road.
