Citizens of Udaipur will no longer have to make multiple runs to the municipal corporation office for getting an electricity connection. To make life of citizens easier and the process smoother, municipal corporation has taken the application process and fee payment online.

K.S. Sisodiya, Superintendent Engineer, informed that the applicant will have to visit the municipal corporation only once with all the documents. Post that he/she will receive all the information, updates and demands via his/her mobile phone and on website.

Applicants will be able to download the form from the website. After filling the form and submitting relevant documents, applicant will get demand notice on phone. Applicant will be able to fill in the demand amount online.

Sisodiya said that taking the process online will help the applicants and will also help in weeding out corruption.
